"We're
so committed to this (NTN); as they say in the climbing
world, 'the only way off is over the top,' we've got to finish
the project now." And as an offer of proof of Scarpa's commitment,
Kim Miler then produced what he surely must feel is Exhibit A
in making his case: Yet another NTN boot by Scarpa, this one
a 4 buckle, T-Race equivalent, available Fall '09. And just like
that, Scarpa will have a 3 NTN boot lineup corresponding nicely
to its 75mm norm offerings, the T2, T1 and T-Race.
But will this lineup
be enough to carry Scarpa's NTN project over the top?
Not if they don't
get a few serious things straightened out first, and in our long
