In this first beginner's
progression, "Wedge, Edge, Telemark," we learn how
to get our skis on edge through the use of the venerable wedge
turn. As Tele Tom explains, "if we can get on our edges
we can take control of the skis, a key first step in learning
to telemark."
Tom also demonstrates how
to use the wedge to initiate a turn then transition into the
