Spring Tele Tips From Dano Cruz

Introduction

It's April and spring has arrived, bringing with it long lazy days on the snow and in the sun. Whether you are still getting turns at a favorite ski area or hiking for vertical in the backcountry, this is a great time to work on skills to take with you going into next season. With this in mind here is Dano Cruz welcoming us into Spring 2004, first presenting more than a dozen "ten second tips" from friends and just folks we met on the mountain one day earlier this month, then D. Cruz follows up with 3 of his unique video tip segments below.

The power of the pinky--- Dano Cruz says, "It's important to really focus on pressuring the little toe of your uphill ski...a lot of the power in the telemark turn is in the rear ski, in order to get that energy out of the back ski be thinking about pressuring your pinky toe of your uphill ski."
