A Clean and
Rowdy Line From Dylan Crossman At The 2005 Alpine Meadows Big
Mountain Comp
February
28, 2005-- he's
been doing it for awhile now at the tele freeski comps but on
Saturday Dylan Crossman of Alta, Utah by way of Mad River Glen,
Vermont, reminded everyone why he's still the one to beat in
his second run on the qualifying day.
Crossman approached
the cliff band at the Alpine Meadows "Keyhole" venue
and waisted no time in taking a direct line down.
Hitting the crucial
first air and sticking it nicely (anything less and it's awfully
hard to recover for the rest of the run) Dylan then proceeded
to drop a double air in an area where other competitors had billygoated
it into a single drop, both before and after.
As can be seen
in the frame grabs on this page and in the one minute video,
he made it look easy.
