22-Designs To Manufacture &
Sell Telebulldog Binding
|
July 18, 2005, Jackson, Wyo. (press release)-- TwentyTwo Designs and
Burnt Mountain Designs have joined efforts to further develop,
market, and promote the Telebulldog binding concept.
The Telebulldog is the only true hands
free step-in telemark ski binding on the market. This simple
and effective concept for a step-in telemark binding was first
introduced 3 years ago by Burnt Mountain Designs.
The Telebulldog has enjoyed a cult
following over the last few years, but were very excited
to have TwentyTwo Designs distribute it this year", says
Dandurand, the originator of this binding design, "I'm a
full time emergency physician and it's been difficult to keep
up with the increasing demand for the binding." |

The Telebulldogs unique two part
design consists of a hinged jaw that opens for easy entry of
the duckbill when stepping into the binding, and a ski brake
that deploys to hold the ski in place while aligning the boot.
It clamps the toe of the ski boot in place with a simple downward
snap of the foot.
For the 05-06 season, the Telebulldog has
gone through a major face lift and redesign. During this redesign,
attention was directed towards strength, reliability, ease of
use, cost reduction, and minimizing weight.
The Telebulldog is a welcome addition to
TwentyTwo Designs product line. It compliments the award-winning
HammerHead binding, the most powerful, active, and versatile
binding on the market, with a modern 3-pin binding that is neutral,
light, and compact.
Both bindings will be available at retailers
worldwide this winter, as well as at www.twentytwodesigns.com.
Editor's note: The Telebulldog will be
available this fall, as shown above with integrated brakes, and
will carry a retail selling price of $185. The newly redesigned
Telebulldog will weigh 34 oz per pair (964 grams).
