360 Tail Grab (Jump)
The 360 tail grab can be broken down into two simpler tricks.
These tricks can and should be practiced first before attempting
them together. The first part you should learn is the tail grab---see
the Trick Tips page. This is a great straight air.
The second part is the 360. Like with many other flips
and spins you will quickly learn "where the head goes the
body will follow." Before you try this jump on snow you
will need to figure out which way you want to spin. Most people
spin to the left. Some like to spin to the right. To figure this
out you can just stand without skis on and jump up and try to
spin around. One way should feel more natural.
Now that you have figured out which way you want to spin,
it is time to try it on snow. As you reach the lip of the jump,
set the rotation by looking over your shoulder. |
